Social Keys does not use cookies or any tracking technology on this website.
The short version
This website does not use cookies. It sets none of its own, and it loads nothing from anyone else that would set one on our behalf.
That means there is no cookie banner on this site, and there is nothing for you to accept, reject or configure. We have written this page anyway, because “we don’t use any” is itself worth stating plainly.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Cookies are commonly used to keep you logged in, to remember preferences, and — most often — to track what you look at, either for the site’s own analytics or to build an advertising profile of you across other websites.
What we do not use
To be specific, socialkeys.online contains none of the following:
- Analytics of any kind — no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, no server-side analytics
- Advertising or remarketing pixels — no Meta pixel, no Google Ads tag, no TikTok or LinkedIn tracking
- Session recording or heatmap tools — no Hotjar, no Microsoft Clarity, no FullStory
- Embedded third-party content — no YouTube or Vimeo players, no embedded Instagram feeds, no maps, no chat widgets
- Social media share buttons that phone home to the platform
- Third-party fonts — our typeface is served from our own server, not from Google Fonts
- Any use of local storage, session storage, or similar browser storage
You are welcome to verify this. Open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Storage or Application tab, and look at the cookie list for this domain while you browse. It will be empty.
Do we need your consent?
No. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, consent is required before storing or accessing information on your device. Since we do neither, there is nothing for you to consent to, and a banner asking you to would be meaningless.
Server logs
Separately from cookies, the server hosting this site keeps standard technical logs, which may include your IP address, browser and the pages you requested. This is not a cookie and does not involve storing anything on your device. It is covered in our Privacy Policy.
When you leave this site
Our “Book a Discovery Call” buttons take you to TidyCal, and our social links take you to Instagram. Those are other companies’ websites, they almost certainly do use cookies, and their policies apply once you arrive. We have no control over and no visibility of what they set.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics or any other technology that uses cookies, we will update this page first and put a proper consent mechanism in place before it goes live. We will not quietly start tracking you.
